 KASE, Marie pianist
 Born in 1983, Chiba (Japan). According to her mother's suggestion, she began to play the piano at the age of 3. Studied piano and musical theory under Akira Fukuda the composer, till the entrance to Tokyo national university of Fine arts and Music (2002) (today it's called Tokyo University of the Arts(TUA)), where she majored in musical creativity under prof. Tatsuhiko Nishioka. During the period at the university, studied piano as a private student of prof. Elena Ashkenazy. After her graduation of TUA (2006), moved to Moscow, Russia, and entered to prof. Elena Richter's class in Moscow State Conservatory. During her life in Moscow, she often played in the concerts and festivals in Japan, Russia, and Europe. In June '2010, finished her post-graduate study (speciality - piano) of Moscow State Conservatory, and currently makes her activities mainly in Japan.

  • Semi-finalist of Cantu international competition, Italy (2007)
  • 3rd prize of International Scriabin piano competition, Paris, France (2008)
  • Solo recital in White Hall, Moscow conservatory (March 2008, program - Beethoven, Schumann, Debussy, Medtner, Scriabin)
  • 1st absolute winner with a special prize of International competition "G.Campochiaro", Catania, Italy (2008)
  • Solo recital in White Hall, Moscow conservatory (April 2009, program - Haydn, Procofiev, Liszt, Schumann, Duttieux, de Falla)
  • Semi-finalist of Huesca international competition, Spain (2009)
  • Joint-recital in the historical library of Russian philosophy, named after A.F.Losev, Moscow, Russia (May 2009, program - Haydn, Albeniz, de Falla)
  • Played in the memorial concert of the Russian pianist Maria Yudina, at white hall of Russian academy of art, Moscow, Russia (December 2009)
  • Semi-finalist of International piano competition "C.Togni", Gussago, Italy (2009)
  • 3rd prize of International piano competition "Citta di Ovada", Ovada, Italy (2009)
  • 1st prize of National piano competition "Citta di Casamassima", Casamassima, Italy (2010)
  • 2nd prize (1st not awarded) of International piano competition "Prix AMADEUS", Casamassima, Italy (2010)
  • Solo recital in White Hall, Moscow conservatory (April 2010, program - Haydn, Lyapunov, Procofiev, Poulenc, Chopin, Rachmaninov)
  • Diploma of 8th International piano competition "Eugenia Verdet" in Barcelona - Vilobi del Penedes, Spain (2010)
  • Joint-recital in memorial museum of A.N.Scriabin, Moscow, Russia (June 2010, program - Haydn, Poulenc, Kapustin)
  • Since July 2010, makes her activities (recitals, ensemble-performances, etc) mainly in Tokyo, Japan
